Something I read in the Vibe Coding book: as coding agents get better, more company roles will be able to code. UX designers writing UI code themselves, copywriters embedding texts directly into apps, QA engineers fixing simpler bugs. Even though coding agents have been good enough for years to modify code, I haven’t heard much about this actually happening in companies.

This morning walking to kindergarten, we passed through a forest path that ends at the main road. The path was well plowed – but ended in a snow wall from the other plow.

Anyone here who doesn’t work as a developer feeling this AI enablement at your company? Or is the path just as smooth on the surface but ending in a wall?
